Enrolling
HOW TO ENROLL
The process for enrolling involves the following steps:
- Applying for the competition for the position by those interested in enrolling;
- Obtaining the TOLC-F test results, verifying possession of the necessary requirements, and being authorized for enrollment;
- Checking personal information in the Reserved Area;
- Pre-enrollment and payment of the first installment by the deadlines visible within your Reserved Area.
APPLICATION FOR POSITION OCCUPATION
To apply for the position, interested parties must, in accordance with the deadlines indicated in paragraph 4:
- REGISTER TO OBTAIN CREDENTIALS, by connecting to the website https://studentionline.unipv.it/esse3/Home.do, selecting the REGISTER option, and completing all the screens provided. This step is not necessary if you already have credentials to access the Reserved Area of the University of Pavia, or if registration has already been completed in the Dreamapply application due to possessing a foreign admission title; in case of loss, it is necessary to request a new password according to the instructions available at the following webpage:
https://studentionline.unipv.it/Anagrafica/PasswordDimenticata.do;
- ENROLL IN THE COMPETITION, using the username and password obtained. By accessing the Reserved Area, click on the menu item Secretariat > Admission Test and select the admission competition for the first year of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology as indicated in paragraph 4.
ACQUISITION OF TOLC-F AND VERIFICATION OF REQUIREMENTS
After submitting the application, the procedure will automatically acquire the TOLC result from CISIA, based on the following timelines:
- On the same day as the test (after 11:00 PM) if the TOLC was taken in person;
- Two days after the test date (after 11:00 PM) if the TOLC@HOME was taken. It is the candidate's responsibility to consider these acquisition times when submitting their application.
CHECKING YOUR STATUS
After obtaining the TOLC result, on the competition page [from the menu of your Reserved Area Secretariat > Admission Test > competition link], candidates will see one of the following statuses under "REQUIREMENTS EVALUATION":
- ‹TEST TO BE TAKEN › ► The TOLC result has not been acquired because it is not yet available; the candidate must wait for the TOLC result to be acquired and meet the required criteria.
- ‹REJECTED › ► The TOLC result has been acquired but does not meet the required criteria (defined in paragraph 4); the candidate cannot reserve a position. If the candidate takes a new TOLC before the application window closes and achieves a result that meets the required criteria, they can wait for the new result to be acquired to compete for a position without having to submit a new application.
- ‹PASSED/ELIGIBLE › ► The TOLC result has been acquired and meets the required criteria to compete for a position (defined in paragraph 4). These candidates will see a second status [from the menu of their Reserved Area Secretariat > Admission Test], which could be one of the following based on seat availability at that time:
- ‹ADMITTED › ► There are available positions, and the candidate is eligible for enrollment. The candidate must proceed to pre-enroll by the deadline indicated next to the status [ADMISSION DEADLINE], and then make the first installment payment by the deadline indicated next to the status [PAYMENT DEADLINE].
- ‹CANCELLED › ► A candidate placed in 'admitted' status who did not meet the pre-enrollment deadline and/or the first installment payment deadline will be placed in 'cancelled' status. In this case, they can submit a new application, even within the same window, by repeating the steps starting from registration for the competition.
- ‹NOT ADMITTED ›► Currently, there are no available positions. The application remains valid, and the candidate can compete for a position as soon as one becomes available. There is no need to submit a new application within the same window.
ATTENTION: Candidates in any status who do not complete the enrollment procedures by the deadlines forfeit their right to enrollment and free up positions in the ranking. Therefore, candidates in any status must monitor their Reserved Area daily for any status changes and adhere to their deadlines.
