The CPDS, provided for in Art.31 of the Statute and Art. 65 of the General University Regulations, has the task of:
a) carry out activities to monitor the training offer, the quality of teaching and the effectiveness of training activities and the choices made;
b) formulate non-binding opinions on the establishment of new courses of study;
c) analyse, with the aid of appropriate indicators, the opinions expressed by students on individual courses, on other educational-training activities and on the study courses as a whole;
d) develop proposals for improving the effectiveness and quality of teaching services for the Department Council, or for the Faculty Steering Committee;
e) draw up an annual report divided into study courses, which takes into consideration the overall training offer of the Department or Faculty, with particular reference to the results of the survey of student opinion.
It is made up of 4 teachers and 4 students. The teachers are appointed by the Department Council, in order to guarantee the representativeness of each degree class. The students are appointed by the students as representatives of the Department Council from among the students enrolled in the study courses belonging to the Department.

The research quality commission is the body for planning and coordinating research activities, with the following tasks:
- evaluate the research activity carried out within the Department with a view to encouraging the exchange of information and knowledge between its members, encouraging transversal collaborations and encouraging the participation of young researchers in internationally competitive research calls;
- implement a survey of research activity and highly qualified professional skills among technical personnel;
- organize seminar activities by organizing research days on a periodic basis;
- deal with the active dissemination (in partnership with UOC research) of the publication of tenders

The Third Mission is the set of activities that the university carries out externally, i.e. the scientific, technological and cultural transfer and productive transformation of knowledge activities that allow the university to come into direct contact with society.
The Third Mission commission follows relations with companies and the territory and the management of intellectual industrial property and the coordination of scientific communication and dissemination activities. Organizes seminar activities of an informative nature. Organizes meetings with companies in the local pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics sectors to illustrate the services offered by the DSF. Provides opinions to the AQ working group.

The Commission aims to promote agreements and relations with foreign universities and institutions, encourage international research and teaching relations through formal agreements (Erasmus +, Erasmus Trainship, Erasmus Overseas, Double Degree, Simple exchange).
The Commission will also have the task of encouraging initiatives aimed at increasing the international mobility not only of students, but also of staff, as well as participation in international research and training networks.

The University Orientation Center (COR) provides comprehensive support to guide high school students in choosing the university path that best suits their interests through seminars, workshops, and informational days. For university students, it offers specialized counseling to assist them in course selection and academic decisions, also supporting them during times of difficulty. The COR is also dedicated to organizing events such as orientation fairs, where students can interact with experts and professionals, gaining an in-depth understanding of post-graduate professional opportunities. It works closely with high schools to ensure a smooth transition for students into university.
