Research quality
In order to monitor and enhance Research quality, alongside the significant role of the Department Council, the Quality, Research, and Third Mission Committee has been established. This committee is tasked with:
- Vigilantly promoting a quality policy in Departmental Research;
- Identifying necessary corrective actions and verifying their implementation;
- Conducting periodic monitoring activities of research outcomes in relation to ministerial standards (VQR) and proposing directions and solutions to enhance scientific production where deficiencies and challenges exist;
- Discussing reported critical issues and planning appropriate corrective actions;
- Recommending to the Department Council criteria for the distribution of ordinary research funds, aimed at optimizing the department's research efficiency.
This committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that research activities within the department maintain high standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and contribute effectively to the academic and scientific community.
